Our Mission...

To surrender our lives to Jesus as Lord through passionate commitment, joyful celebration and loving service to our community.

Our Vision...

To be a Christian Family Centred in

Jesus Others You

Our Core Values...

1. We believe prayer is the foundation of the Christian's relationship with God.

Effective prayer is done from an honest and vulnerable heart, one which hides no agenda, and has turned away from anything which separates the person from God (1 Kings 8:37-40). Prayer is the most powerful force at our disposal, and we pray for each other and all decisions (Ephesians 6:18, James 5:6).

2. We believe compassion is the signature of our love.

Compassion is offered from a posture of reconciliation, lowliness, kindness and patience (Colossians 3:12). We reach out to make a difference in our community, because if God cares for them, so should we (1 John 4:19).

3. We believe love is the essence of God and ourselves as we centre in Christ.

Love is possible as we are vulnerable, real and at peace with ourselves. Loving God means being committed and obedient to God's guidance (John 15:10,12).

4. We believe support for our community and each other glorifies God and develops thankful hearts.

Support is the community of faith is built through action, a natural response to God. It is the primary vocation of every Christian. As we serve others, Christ is strengthened within us (Acts 2:38-47, Matthew 10:42).

5. We believe a church operates through the gifts of its members, given in service to God.

This involves servant hood, spiritual gifts and ministry callings (Romans 12, Ephesians ).

6. We believe God's forgiveness and reconciliation are proclaimed by God's people.

An unforgiving heart is a prison, while to forgive another or yourself is to know freedom. Forgiveness withheld increases separation for God and wholeness, Forgiveness given strengthen the Light within us (Luke 6:37, John 20:23).

7. We believe joy is the mark of mature faith, a response in living to the Spirit of God within.

Joy is strengthened through prayer, service, study and fellowship, empowering people to know God's presence in times of difficulty and ease. It is the lived response to the freedom, forgiveness and gifts of God (Psalm 5:11, John 16:20-24, 2 Corinthians 8:2).

8. We believe happiness is known through genuine celebration and praise.

The vulnerability and strength of the people of God allow all emotions to have their place in worship and fellowship. Our happiness comes through faithful discipleship (Proverbs 3:3, James 5:11).

9. We believe growth in faith and understanding is the natural desire of every person of faith. We experience growth as we focus on Christ as the centre of life, instead of the distresses of the world.

Growth involves obedient discipleship, integrity of character and witness, and results in a strong church (Romans 10:14-20, Hebrews 12).
